So it seems that guitar god Joe Satriani is suing Coldplay for plagiarism. He claims that “Viva La Vida” sounds just a tad too much like his 2004 composition “If I Could Fly.” Satriani is “seeking a jury trial, damages and ‘any and all profits’ attributable to the alleged copyright infringement,” according to Reuters.
